Baked Brie

Nothing says holidays like the smell of great food and being surrounded by family and loved ones. This holiday season, we asked our staff to share their favourite recipes. On behalf of WinnipegREALTORS®, we hope you enjoy these recipes and wishes for a healthy, happy new year!

Small or large brie
1/4 cup butter
1/4-1/2 cup raisins
1 apple
1/4-1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4-1/2 cup puff pastry
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk



Melt butter, add sugar, nuts and raisins.

Roll out pastry (use Tenderflake puff pastry — 1-1/2 squares) large enough to enclose the cheese.

Place brie in centre. Pat sugar mixture on top of cheese.

Top with apple slices.

Enclose in pastry, seal well.

Mix egg and milk together. Brush over pastry.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.


Serve with crackers or baguette.
