Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2/3 cup cracker crumbs
1 egg
1/2 cup onions, minced
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon soya sauce
1/2 cup maraschino cherries
1 10-ounce can pineapple chunks, drained
Directions:
Mix together first 6 ingredients and shape into small meatballs
Brown in skillet
Combine cornstarch, brown sugar, vinegar and ketchup
Cook over medium heat, slowly adding water and soya sauce
Bring to a boil for 2 minutes
Add cherries and pineapple
Place meatballs in roasting pan and cover with sauce/fruit mixture
Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes
Serve with salad and rice
