Our own Learning Development and Training Coordinator, Vern Toews was honoured with the Presidents Citation of the Air Cadet League of Canada, for outstanding volunteerism and his work chairing the host committee for the national Air Cadet Annual General Meeting.
He was also elected Chair of the Air Cadet League of Manitoba, and now responsible for all 24 air cadet squadrons, about 500 volunteers and 1,400 air cadets in the province of Manitoba.
We do not know if he wears his bow tie during his meetings.
The WinnipegREALTORS Political Action Committee Team, which includes several REALTORS plus our VP of External Relations, Peter Squire, received CREA’s Outstanding PAC Team Award at PAC Days held in Ottawa last month. They have been working hard to grow CREA’s REALTOR Action Network and to impart advocacy information to our locals MPs.
