I began my real estate career in 2009 in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, and surrounding area. This community was where I had camped every summer and where I eventually bought a cabin. I enjoyed cottage country and the lifestyle so much that I ended up selling my house in the city and moving to Lac du Bonnet. This is where I specialized in cabin sales for five years. Helping people buy and sell recreational properties gave me a well-rounded knowledge of many different types of unique properties. It also helped me become well versed in the complexities of rural real estate. No two properties were ever the same, and it was a completely different market when compared to Winnipeg real estate.
Once my son was finished high school, we chose to move to Winnipeg and I began my “city” real estate career. The competition for properties was something that I was not used to, and it took a while to get my “city” legs, in this oh so quick moving market.
In 2016 I completed the Provincial courses through the Manitoba Securities Commission and obtained my brokers license. This gave me, and my clients whom I serve, heightened knowledge and service when competing in the Winnipeg real estate market.
I try to provide a stress free, ethical real estate journey for all my clients. I aim to give a level of service and attention to detail that I would expect from a real estate professional, if the roles were reversed. I consider myself to be an information broker so that my clients can make the right financial decisions for their next home, or property.
I now live in and service the same area of Winnipeg where I was raised and where I went to school. I have spent most of my adult life in my neighborhood. I am happy to be home. I still represent clients in cottage country, and enjoy it each time I get to go back and help someone find their dream home or cottage property.
I am a recipient of the Sales Achievement Award from Royal Lepage Canada in 2018, and happily continue my love of real estate in the Winnipeg market.
