Lorne Weiss has been a Licensed REALTOR® in Winnipeg since 1987, active in marketing residential, commercial and investment properties during this time.

In the course of his Real Estate career, Lorne has been active in volunteer activities associated with organized real estate and his community.
He has served as President of the Winnipeg REALTORS Association Board of Directors, co-chair of the Commercial Division of the WRA, and chair of the Civic & Legislative Affairs Committee of the WRA.

Lorne is a past president of the Manitoba Real Estate Association and has served on the MREA board of directors in various capacities since 2001. He has chaired the political action committee (MPAC) of MREA since 2004
Lorne has also served two four year terms representing Manitoba REALTORS on the board of directors of the Canadian Real Estate Association.

He has represented organized real estate on various task forces such as the City of Winnipeg / Winnipeg Real Estate Board joint task force on multiple-use zoning and building code equivalencies, and the City of Winnipeg Assessment Review Committees. In addition, he has made presentations to the Capital Region task force, the Mayor’s forum on property taxes, City Council, and Provincial Ministers and party caucuses
Lorne is an Associate Broker with Century 21 Bachman & Associates; the President\ of Weiss & Weiss Real Estate Consultants.

Lorne has been honoured by the Manitoba Real Estate Association , the Canadian Real Estate Association and CMHC/MREA for his contributions to organized real estate.
