The Gimme Shelter Committee have reviewed the timelines for its fundraising event this year, and determined that the event would be better attended with a late winter/early spring date. The proposed date for this year’s event would have placed it during the busy spring market season, plus the Jets are actually in the playoffs this year!
The Gimme Shelter fundraiser, with its hardworking team of volunteers and WinnipegREALTORS® dedicated staff, will recharge and regroup to create a new Gimme Shelter event for 2019. The Gimme Shelter Committee welcomes energetic and creative volunteers to help produce this important fundraiser. While the Gimme Shelter fundraiser will not be held this year, the MREA Shelter Foundation continues to raise funds for charitable organizations that support shelter-related causes that improve the quality of life of Manitobans.
